Welcome to The Wee Butterfly! I'm Kat, the founder of this unique and evolving brand that was born out of a passion for high-quality, affordable wax melts. Our journey began in October 2018 when Aromelts was established with the vision of bringing delightful fragrances into the lives of our customers.
During our first year, we experienced tremendous success, but little did we know that the world would take an unexpected turn in 2020. Like many others, we had to adapt our plans to meet the challenges that arose. In 2021, we made the decision to start selling our products through Etsy, and thanks to the incredible support of our customers, we continued to thrive.
However, in 2022, we felt the need for a transformation—a metamorphosis that would allow us to expand our product range and embrace new possibilities. That's when The Wee Butterfly emerged, providing us with the perfect platform to introduce an array of captivating offerings.
Curiously enough, you might wonder why a brand built on the concept of butterflies is led by someone who has an irrational fear of them. Well, let me share a little personal insight. My dear mum had an absolute fondness for butterflies. They adorned everything she owned, and she would burst into laughter whenever I would flee in fear from these delicate creatures. Creating The Wee Butterfly, with its name and logo featuring a wee butterfly, brings me a sense of joy and a connection to my mum's spirit. I believe she would find great delight in knowing that her love for butterflies lives on through this brand.
